After that heart-breaking talk, she wasn't able to resist herself from falling back in her memories. She recalled the most beautiful days of their life. And with a cold breath, she said its somewhat like a filmy story...
It all started when they were in school. 'School time' - the golden period of one's life, which everyone wants to live forever but some wishes never come true. Both the boy and gal were in same grades sharing a completely different nature. Let me describe the characters of the story first. The boy was very shy in nature and never talked to more people. He always tried to limit himself to very small number of people. He was an average looking gifted with a simple and true heart. At the same time the other lead character , gal, was totally opposite to his nature. She was a confident gal with great looks. She was always in limelight at school and was favorite of all school faculty. Both had different backgrounds, the gal was from a rich and high post person's family whereas the boy was from a middle class family. The boy though was quite intelligent, couldn't talk to that gal just because of his nature. There were several instances when they both faced each other, but boy due to his introvert nature was never able to talk to her.
But fate plays his role very well. Gradually as the time passed by, boy was attracted to the gal, we can say he almost fell in love with the gal. A hidden fact also lied there, i mean the gal liked the boy too. But they never expressed due to their really unlikely natures. Both of them had soft corners for each other in their hearts but they never spoke. Boy was class topper and the gal was school captain. Due to this they most of the time represented their class together and had a lot of chances to express but the boy wasn't able to do it ever. Gal wished the boy to express but the boy couldn't. It wasn't that they never tried, they did so in some symbolic type of things, which they understood very well. But a formal decalration is a very important part these days to do. Which they never were able to do. All this continued for next two years, till they gave their final board exams as they were passing out the school that very year.
It was warm and silent afternoon, a day after the exams completed, when the boy went to the gal's house to meet her. Luckily no one was at home that time. Everything was favoring the boy to express his wish. The gal was once surprized to see the boy at her gate but at the same time was feeling a great joy in her heart. But she kept her cool and asked that boy to come in & make himself comfortable. She went in kithcen and came back with a glass full of water and a question on her lips as why was the boy here today at her home ? The boy after a small pause quietly replied that he had to confess something to her.
